WebClient

The DIALOG WebClient is a professional tool that is available to mobile editorial staff as well as reporters, correspondents and freelancers. It allows articles to be created, opened and processed in the DIALOG database from any computer over the Internet.

The original article or even the entire page can also be viewed without the need for any special software. All that is required is a standard browser and the appropriate access authorisation. No plug-ins or fonts are downloaded to the client when working with the DIALOG WebClient. Written content, which is binding and precise in terms of the number of lines, is still possible. Even sports results can be entered conveniently and, more importantly, in real-time.

The templates that are available for article layout in the WebClient are the same as those of the editorial system (no double maintenance).

The DIALOG WebClient allows journalists to obtain an overview of agency texts, images and graphics at any time. Different documents can be collected in a topic folder. Various aids such as the quick start, list of current tasks, most recently opened documents, last search or saved searches all support editors in their work.
